Chris Kounelis

Law Graduate

Chris Kounelis has joined the Merton Lawyers team after completing his Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at Monash University and Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne. He is an energetic and enthusiastic addition to the Litigation department, eager to provide exceptional service to our valued clients.  

During his studies, Chris was awarded ‘Best Advocate’ at a national moot court competition, as part of a team representing Monash University. It was the first time a Victorian team had claimed the championship title in the competition’s 18-year history. Additionally, Chris has assisted in matters reaching the High Court of Australia under a leading industrial relations Barrister. 

When not at Merton, Chris can be found:
Playing the piano, staying active in the gym, and cheering on Carlton, ever hopeful for that premiership win (any day now!).
