In this month’s newsletter, we’re proud to announce the launch of Project Odyssey, our next major initiative focused on strengthening governance across the venture capital ecosystem. At its core is the Startup Board Course — a free, invite-only program running this October at the Wade Institute, designed to help VCs and their portfolio companies build high-impact boards that drive growth.

This quarter also saw us co-host an International Expansion Lunch with William Buck, support AgTech innovation at the THRIVE Australia Summit, and join top investors at the Innovation Bay Aurora Dinner. With more events on the horizon, we’re excited to continue shaping the future of venture with you. 

During this month, Merton also attended the #Sunrise25 event, as well as the Miami F1 race and the Bay Area for Project Frontier.

Last month, Merton Lawyers had the opportunity to attend various events, including SXSW Going Global Presentation, North Carolina's Economic Development Briefing, and Melbourne's Innovation Bay Community Drinks.

At the Merton office, we are preparing for another significant month with exciting upcoming events ahead!

Last month, there was a lot of activity at the Merton Lawyers' office, with the team celebrating successes, achieving career milestones, and attending a variety of exciting events!

Last month, we were pleased to welcome three new members to the Merton team. We also visited the US and celebrated our Managing Partner, Anthony Curtin, who was named a finalist in two categories for the 2024 Lawyers Weekly Partner of the Year Awards.

Last month, the Merton team had the opportunity to attend multiple events, including the Asena Family Office Launch and a thought-provoking panel discussion on Capital Raising in the US.

This month, we have welcomed a new team member to the Merton family in our conveyancing department and attended several events and masterclasses to kick off 2024.
